DAILY ITINERARY

Upon arrival in Havana, transfer directly to your lodging for a chance to freshen up. Later we will take a panoramic drive through modern

Havana and then continue to the workshop and home of renowned artist Jose Fuster in Jaimanitas. Fuster has turned his home and neighborhood into a masterpiece of tiles, turrets and, one might say, “Gaudí-esque beauty”.

Welcome dinner at a private restaurant, so call ¨Paladares¨

Optional: An evening of live Cuban jazz at La Zorra y El Cuervo Club

After breakfast, proceed for a city tour of Old Havana. The tour will take place on foot and you will visit all four squares in Old Havana. Witness the beauty of the historical buildings, sculptures and monuments. We will make special stops at the galleries and workshops of some local artists.

After lunch we will visit Callejón de Hamel, a vibrant “open air museum” created by Havana’s Afro-Cuban community.

Enjoy some free time to stroll around Old Havana on your own.

Optional: Traditional Cuban music and dance show at The Hotel Nacional.

Today you have your choice of spending a day in the countryside and see rural Cuba.

Three ours away from Havana is Viñales valley. This mystical place has one of the most beautiful country views in Cuba including “mogotes” which are limestone mountains that come out the valley floor.

We will lunch in a farm located in in the heart of Vinales. Enjoy organic food from the farm to your plate.

You will discover the traditional methods still in use for growing tobacco and discuss with farmers who will offer you hand made cigars from the best tobacco farms.

Evening: Back to Havana city

Today we will depart Havana heading southeast towards the city of Trinidad. En route, we will make a stop at The Bay of Pigs. There will be time for visiting a museum and know more about the fail invasion.

Later on, we continue towards Trinidad stopping next in Cienfuegos city for a visit of the city center. In Cienfuegos we will visit the main square, the Cathedral church, Terry Theatre and the Palacio del Valle building.

In the evening we reach the charming, UNESCO World Heritage colonial town of Trinidad.

Check in at the hotel or bed and breakfast.

Dinner included at a local restaurant.

In the morning we will do a walking tour through the cobblestone streets of Old Town Trinidad. Trinidad was built on the 19th-centruy sugar and slave trade.

Touring the town, we will see fine, well-preserved Spanish colonial mansions, squares and churches.

Next morning we will make an excursion into Topes de Collantes National Park located up in the Escambray Mountains for a hike through this natural wonderland.

We also plan to visit a family in the area that has been producing pottery and ceramics for over 100 years. The evening is free for you to enjoy dinner, drinks and music at any of the many pleasant local establishments in Trinidad such as the famous Casa de la música, Casa de la Trova and Canchánchara Bar.

Today we depart Trinidad early in the morning and head towards Havana city. Arrive in Havana and check in at your accommodation.

Last day is free to explore the city on our own, before we go all together for our farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Evening: Visit Fabrica de Arte Cubano (FAC) sharing an expanse of the same century-old cooking-oil factory.

It is an artists’ collective, a community center, a coffee shop, and bars. Enjoy art instalations, photography, music concerts, movies in a great venue and inviting environmet.
